The Elimination of the Big Question Mark
I first came across the local church as a young person, and I quickly began enjoying the footnotes in the Recovery Version of Matthew. Believe it or not, those old, dry, meaningless genealogies right at the beginning of Matthew suddenly had great meaning, life, and purpose! Quickly too, a Christian brother who I knew and respected told me to stop reading “that” and only read the “pure” Word of God. I took his recommendation because of my respect for him. However this little word of advice became a great damage to me. Although I did read the Word, I found it difficult to receive much enlightenment from it. I became despairing, for what I'd found in the Recovery Version of the Bible I couldn't find anywhere else. Then, in sweet fellowship with the Lord, it became clear to me that the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee WAS just the unveiling of the pure Word of God!
I love this living ministry. It has unveiled so much to me! Without it I don't know where I'd be today. My life would be a big question mark.
